Job summary

The State of California, Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, Sacramento Downtown, is seeking a Groundskeeper to perform gardening and grounds maintenance in a defined FMD region. The role may require travel and is based in-office at Sacramento Downtown.

Salary ranges from $3,654.00 to $4,534.00 per month for a permanent, full-time position with a 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. shift, Monday to Friday, and benefits package. Final filing date is 10/14/2026.

Under the supervision of the Supervising Groundskeeper I, the Groundskeeper in the Facilities Manager Division (FMD), Sacramento Downtown is responsible for performing gardening and general grounds maintenance and other related work in a designated FMD region.


This position may require travel.
