Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Groundskeeper at Western Kentucky University campus. You will be responsible for landscape maintenance, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring a safe, tidy outdoor environment.

The role offers full-time hours with varying shifts; applicants with horticultural training and pesticide/herbicide licenses are preferred. Team players who are reliable and safety-focused thrive here, with opportunities for development and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment.
• Perform a variety of tasks such as sod laying, mowing, trimming, edging, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, irrigation, parking lot and sidewalk sweeping, snow/ice management, and sports field setup and maintenance.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Location: WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY - 67676032

Workdays/shifts : Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $14 per hour - $14 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Groundskeeper at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge to identify and maintain the property landscape.

Responsibilities include:

• Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment

• Work typically consists of a variety of tasks; examples include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, edging, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, irrigation, sweeping of parking lots and sidewalks, snow and ice management, and sports field setup and maintenance.

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
