Job Description

Willow Bridge is currently hiring for an experienced Groundskeeper to oversee the overall upkeep of the apartment community. Responsibilities

1. Keep property, management office, landscaping clean by inspecting property each morning and picking up any trash littering the grounds.
2. Keep mail rooms clean--pick up trash, sweep floors, remove dated notices from bulletin boards, etc.
3. Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
4. Replace all first-floor window screens upon request.
5. Assist with apartment make-readies as requested--trash vacant units, caulk, check appliances and smoke detectors, replace parts, etc.
6. Clean air conditioning vents and replace filters in all vacant apartments.
7. Install, move and hook up appliances.
8. Replace air filters as scheduled for all occupied apartments.
9. Clean pool area--hose down area, pick up trash, straighten chairs, etc.
10. Perform light painting duties as directed.
11. Clean vacant apartments between residents.
12. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician as requested.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Some experience in groundskeeping, caretaking or janitorial.
3. Strong attention to detail.
4. Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Must be able to assist with after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
7. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and climb stairs on a regular basis.
8. This role MAY require a valid driver's license.

Benefits

Typical base compensation range depending on experience: $17 to $19 per hour USD
