Chattanooga State Community College is seeking a Grounds Worker II to assist in maintaining campus grounds year-round. The role involves mowing, trimming, weed control, cleaning, and equipment maintenance, under the supervision of the Grounds Foreman and Plant Operations leadership.

The Grounds Worker II position assists the College in maintaining the grounds. These duties include, but are not limited to: mowing, weed eating, blowing, hedging, trimming, pulling weeds, spraying, watering, emptying trash and servicing/maintaining equipment relevant to the department. The work is performed year round and in all types of weather conditions. Uniforms and personal protective equipment will be provided, and must be worn at all times. This position reports to a Grounds Foreman, a Grounds Supervisor and ultimately the Executive Director of Plant Operations.

Salary Range: $32,834 - $38,580
