Chattanooga State Community College is seeking a Grounds Worker II to help maintain the campus landscape year-round. The role includes mowing, weed eating, trimming, watering, and equipment upkeep, with uniforms and PPE provided.
Reporting to the Grounds Foreman and Supervisor, you will work independently and with the team to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff. A high school diploma and at least two years of grounds maintenance experience are required.

The Grounds Worker II position assists the College in maintaining the grounds. These duties include, but are not limited to: mowing, weed eating, blowing, hedging, trimming, pulling weeds, spraying, watering, emptying trash and servicing/maintaining equipment relevant to the department. The work is performed year round and in all types of weather conditions. Uniforms and personal protective equipment will be provided, and must be worn at all times. This position reports to a Grounds Foreman, a Grounds Supervisor and ultimately the Executive Director of Plant Operations.
