Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Grounds Technician I to perform routine and extensive grounds maintenance and basic repairs across outdoor spaces including lawns, shrubs, trees, and courtyards. The role requires operating and maintaining irrigation, parking areas, and related exterior facilities.

The position demands a valid state drivers license, at least 6 months of grounds maintenance experience, and the ability to read and write English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of Commercial or Municipal grounds maintenance and/or landscaping experience required.
• Must have a valid and current State Drivers License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair on grounds, parking areas, turf grass, shrubs, trees, and other plants, including courtyards.
• Maintains landscape features by mowing lawns, trimming edges, pruning trees/shrubs, weeding beds, and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Inspects and maintains landscape lighting, fences, signs, and related structures; repairs roadways, parking lots, and walkways as needed.
