Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Grounds Specialist for Ft Meyers, FL to maintain the property grounds, common areas, and amenities. This role also supports the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager with general maintenance tasks and repairs on the property.

The position requires physical ability to perform labor, operate tools safely, and work over 40 hours per week as needed. This role is based on site at the multifamily property and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One or more years of general labor job experience is preferred, multifamily experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certified is preferred.
• Ability to lift tools, equipment and other items in the unit (approximately 50 lbs).
• Work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Walks the property throughout the day and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from all areas, including breezeways, pools and common areas.
• Removes trash and recyclables within the office and maintains the trash areas per schedule.
• Checks and logs pool levels daily and vacuums pools weekly.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities by performing general labor duties.
• Cleans and maintains grills, inspecting timers and knobs to ensure safety.

Your role:

The Grounds Specialist maintains the physical aspects of the property, which include the grounds, common areas and amenities. This position will also assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager by performing general maintenance and repairs for the assigned property and facilities.
