Job summary

JBAY LLC, dba Breezy Point Surf Club & Silver Gull Beach Club in Breezy Point, NY is hiring for a Grounds & Public Area Attendant for the 2026 summer season. Responsibilities include cleaning public areas, sanitizing, reporting maintenance, assisting with housekeeping, and helping guests with questions. This is a seasonal role with an immediate start and a September 2026 end date.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school juniors and seniors).
• Experience: One year of housekeeping and/or similar experience preferred.
• Resort/National Park concession experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean public common areas, including restrooms, and other guest use areas.
• Properly sanitize all assigned areas.
• Report maintenance issues and damages promptly to supervisor.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties (if applicable) as assigned.
• Assist with a variety of guest questions and requests as necessary.
• Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper PPE.
• Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school juniors and seniors)

One year of housekeeping or similar experience preferred

Resort / National Park Concession Experience Preferred

Requirements

• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Must be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasks
• Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to work entire season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day without any vacation, or time away from work.
• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age

Education & Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school juniors and seniors)

Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping and / or similar experience preferred

Resort / National Park Concession Experience Preferred

Hourly rate of pay $17.00
