Compass Group USA is hiring immediately for a full time Groundskeeper at Saint Joseph University, Lancaster, PA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the potential locations within the school district. A minimum of one year of groundskeeping experience is required and snow removal may be required.

Fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The role includes landscaping, plant maintenance, and routine janitorial duties.

Qualifications

• One year of prior groundskeeping experience is required.
• This position may require snow removal.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers a program of grounds and plant maintenance.
• Mows lawns weekly during the proper season.
• Trims bushes to maintain neat appearance and desired shape.
• Weeds flowerbeds weekly or more often if needed.
• Shovels exterior walkways during wintery weather; salts or sands icy walkways as needed.
• Performs general janitorial duties including property inspections, landscaping and grounds maintenance.
