Job summary

Quail West in Naples, FL is seeking a dependable Grounds Operator I to join our Grounds team. This full-time, hourly role supports daily care and maintenance of our landscapes, helping ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, plus one weekend per month.

Pay is $18 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k with employer match, uniforms, and playing privileges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Safety-conscious work ethic.
• Willingness to participate in training and follow policies and procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment such as push mowers, riding mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Maintain landscaped areas to ensure a clean, attractive, and well-kept appearance throughout the property.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Participate in departmental training to ensure consistent grounds maintenance standards.
• Work collaboratively with the Grounds team to complete daily assignments efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Grounds Operator I to join our Grounds team! The Grounds Operator I will assist with the daily care and maintenance of Quail West’s beautifully maintained grounds and landscaping, helping ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our members and guests.
