Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center seeks a Plant Engineering maintenance professional responsible for diverse grounds and general maintenance tasks across the facility. Duties include trash removal, landscaping, signage, paving touchups, and basic electrical/mechanical work, with emphasis on safety and life safety compliance.

Responsibilities cover operating ground machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting drills/codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Two to three years general maintenance experience with basic electrical/mechanical work.
• Florida Driver License with no more than 4 points.

• Powers, washes and removes gum from entrances; cleans sidewalks and parking areas.
• Digs trenches, mixes pours concrete, installs signs and paints road markings as needed.

Empties all trash cans as scheduled.b. Maintains grounds clean as scheduled.c. Powers, washes and removes gum from entrances as scheduled.d. Blows parking structure and parking lots as scheduled.e. Sweeps and cleans as needed.f. Digs trenches on holes for piping, sprinkler heads, plants, etc.g. Mixes and pours concrete as required.h. Installs signs as needed.I. Paints road marking as needed.j. Plants flowers, bushes or trees as required.k. Patches holes in the pavement as needed.l. Moves, installs, replaces or removes car bumpers as needed.m. Removes debris from the roads as needed.n. Rakes and blows leaves.
