Overview

Grounds Maintenance Worker - AHRC Brookville location, Per Diem -- Up to 20 Hours FLEX. Assists in maintaining landscapes in an outdoor setting, Non-NYSID, or as assigned by supervisor.

Grounds Maintenance Worker reports to the Supervisor - Total Property Management.

Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Assists in performing landscaping services such as clipping, mowing, weeding, edging, raking, digging, etc., as requested by team leader/supervisor or lawn maintenance assistant.
2. Assists in performing any other task required of crew, such as snow removal, cleanup, construction helper, etc.
3. Acts as backup for Team Leaders when resources require an additional licensed driver.

Physical Aspects may include but are not limited to:

The work generally requires extended periods of standing and walking and will require a moderate amount of bending, and the ability to handle and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Preferred or Equivalent Required.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor; ability to understand instructions given by supervisor.
• Flexible; able to accept changes in job duties.
