Under the direction of the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, the key duties include: * **Field and Grounds Maintenance:** Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, blowing, watering, weeding, aerating, and fertilizing athletic fields, parks, and city grounds. * **Field Preparation:** Measure, layout, and line athletic fields and courts according to prescribed standards. Prepare fields for play, including inspecting for safety and maintenance needs. * **Equipment Operation and Maintenance:** Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including mowers, chain saws, tractors, and small power tools.
