Job summary

Satellite Services, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Laborer to maintain grounds at industrial, commercial, or public properties. Duties include mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, watering, litter removal, snow removal, fence repair and general upkeep.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, 3–5 years of lawn and pavement experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate mowers safely. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in lawn and pavement care/maintenance in an industrial setting preferred.
• Must read, write, speak English and follow work orders.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass with walking- or riding-mowers (<2000 lbs).
• Trim hedges and edges around walkways and beds.
• Prune shrubs/trees for shaping and growth.
• Spray lawns with fertilizer or insecticide.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
• Water lawn/shrubs; operate sprinklers.
• Clean up leaves and litter; remove snow when needed.
