SST Direct in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to maintain lawns, spray weeds, and manage trimming on job sites. The role is a direct hire, Monday–Friday 7am–4:30pm with OT as needed, requiring local travel and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Applicants should have basic lawn equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable working outdoors in all seasons. A company truck and equipment are provided, with hotels and per diem when traveling.

DIRECT HIRE:

An awesome opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team.

Hourly Range:

$20hr - $26hr (+OT)

Base Schedule:

M-F, 7am - 4:30pm (OT inclusive), weekends as needed

Requirements:

• Basic experience with working with lawn care equipment, tools and accessories
• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer (will be required to prove competency prior to employment)
• Must have the ability to pick up items over 50 pounds
• Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to meet a set number of job sites each week
• Must be willing to work outside throughout all seasons
• Basic mechanical stills are required
• Must be local to the Fayetteville, NC. area
• You must be 21 years and older to apply

The scope of work is, but not limited to:

• Cutting grass, spraying weeds
• Debris removal, branch and tree limb removal
• A company truck and equipment will be provided
• The ability to travel is a must for this position, as well as weekend hours when necessary. If you are unable to travel or work weekends, you should NOT apply.
