Job summary

Training, Rehabilitation, & Development Institute, Inc. is hiring a full-time Grounds Maintenance Worker for the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station site. The ideal candidate will have groundskeeping experience and operate landscaping equipment on a government facility.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance are required. Pay rate is $18.28 per hour with benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, and provided uniforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with groundskeeping and landscaping equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds of industrial, commercial or public property at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station site.
• Operate and repair groundskeeping equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Assist with fertilizing or herbiciding lawns, shrubs and trees as needed.
• Plant and maintain grass, flowers and shrubs; water lawns during dry periods; manage litter and basic facilities upkeep.
• Assist in repairs of roads, walks, buildings, and equipment, and clean facilities and parking areas.
