PRIMARY FUNCTION Maintains the roads and grounds at Gila Bend AFAF

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Pick up trash and debris daily around Gila Bend AFAF, operate gas powered equipment to maintain lawns, trees, Palm trees, and brush (riding lawn mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, chain saws, edger’s, and etc.) Remove weeds from rock and plant areas on base, patch asphalt roads, crack‑seal roads, and minor repairs to concrete walkways and driveways.
• Repair and/or replace sprinklers and PVC irrigation lines.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma and/or equivalent.
• Must have at least one plus years of prior grounds maintenance experience.
