General Summary

Performs routine maintenance functions on the landscaping, grounds, roads, irrigation, and utilities belonging to the Commission through general labor and equipment.

Minimum Education Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Special Requirements
  • Ability to comply with all safety regulations.
  • Valid Virginia Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
  • Participation in the Emergency Response Program related to airport safety.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
  • Maintain a current mobile or residential phone for emergency callbacks.
  • Internal Candidate Eligibility: Must have completed at least 12 consecutive months in the current position with satisfactory performance before applying.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hiring range based on experience: $17.00 - $19.20 per hour.
