Description

SUMMARY: Assist Grounds' Staff with landscaping, hardscape, street and sidewalk cleaning, exterior window and door cleaning, exterior fixture maintenance, storm clean-up, and other grounds maintenance tasks.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Landscaping
• Hardscape maintenance
• Street and sidewalk cleaning
• Cleaning and dusting reachable exterior building windows and doors
• Cleaning and waxing exterior fixtures
• Storm clean-up, including working through the night if necessary to clear and open paths after storms
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 15 lbs. and push/pull up to 40 lbs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
• Willingness to perform labor-intensive tasks
• Minimum of 2 hours work per scheduled workday
• Not suitable for individuals with severe allergies
