Job summary

Wood Lawn & Landscaping LLC is seeking a dependable Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to guide a maintenance crew in installing, maintaining, and improving residential and commercial landscapes to company standards. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes daily production, safety, and client satisfaction.

You will work alongside your crew, train technicians, ensure quality work, and uphold equipment care and professional client interactions in a Monday–Friday schedule with a structured lunch

• Maintain clean and professional client properties and job sites.
• Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and management.
• Help train and develop Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitor crew productivity and the quality of completed work.
• Take responsibility for the crew's daily performance and production.

About the Position

The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for leading a maintenance crew while working alongside the team to maintain residential and commercial landscapes to Wood Lawn & Landscaping's standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership position. You will work alongside your crew while taking responsibility for daily production, quality, organization, customer service, equipment, and crew development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew.
• Complete scheduled work efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards.
• Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and edging.
• Prune shrubs, ornamental plants, and other landscape material.
• Install mulch, pine straw, and plants in planting beds.
• Perform seasonal cleanups and removal of leaves and landscape debris.
• Perform dormant pruning during the winter months.
• Maintain clean and professional client properties and job sites.
• Properly operate and care for company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and management.
• Help train and develop Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitor crew productivity and the quality of completed work.
• Take responsibility for the crew's daily performance and production.

What We're Looking For

• Has previous landscape maintenance experience.

Previous Crew Leader experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right Maintenance Technician who demonstrates leadership ability, reliability, and a desire to advance.

Compensation

$18–$22 Per Hour

Starting compensation is based on experience, skill level, leadership ability, and production.

Schedule

Monday–Friday

Normal scheduled hours: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM

The normal scheduled day includes a scheduled lunch break.

Our Monday–Friday schedule provides a predictable workweek and allows our team members to plan their lives outside of work.
