Job description

IMH Recruitment is currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work on behalf of Sheffield City Council, undertaking environmental horticultural maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and horticultural machinery after suitable training.
• Perform hedge cutting, grass cutting, litter picking, rubbish removal, and sweeping paths.
• Carry out general gardening and environmental maintenance duties.
• Complete manual labor duties for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Work from different locations or depots as required.
• Work flexibly and in all weather conditions.

Hours & Pay

• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (hours to be confirmed at interview).
• Starting from £12.60 per hour.
