Cal-Am Properties Inc. in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Landscaping & Maintenance worker to maintain grounds of resort/community and perform related tasks to keep our properties in top condition. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional weekend work for emergencies.

The role involves mowing, trimming, planting, spraying, and general maintenance of grounds and facilities. Compensation is $22.00 hourly with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation and Sick,

Formación

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment.
• Familiar with use of maintenance equipment like lawn mowers and hedge trimmers.
• Problem identification and resolution.
• Work independently with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, and other grounds features.
• Mows and edges lawns using power or push mowers and edgers.
• Cares for lawns by mulching, weed removal, and trimming trees/plants.
• Maintains flower beds by pruning, weeding and watering.
• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, hedges with appropriate tools.
• Plants flowers and trees.
• Applies fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides as needed.
• Maintains ground equipment and performs basic repairs.
• Operates powered lawn equipment (mowers, weed whackers, clippers, pruning saws).
• Reports maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Prepares vacancies to market-ready condition.
• Assists in special maintenance projects and preventive maintenance of building components.
• Keeps grounds and common areas free of trash and debris.
• Communicates with management and maintenance staff to represent quality.
• Delivers communications to residents and assists for resident events.
• Drives company vehicle as needed.
