Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is seeking a Landscaping & Maintenance team member to uphold the grounds of RV resorts, manufactured home communities and apartment communities.

You will mow, edge, prune, plant and perform preventive maintenance to keep properties market-ready and seeking to provide residents with a high-quality living environment. The position requires physical work, operation of lawn equipment, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Lift heavy equipment as needed.
• Operate maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers and hedge trimmers.
• Identify problems and resolve maintenance issues.
• Work independently and pay close attention to detail.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, and other grounds features.
• Mows and edges lawns using power or push mowers and/or edgers.
• Cares for lawns by laying mulch, removing weeds, and trimming trees and plants.
• Maintains flower beds by pruning, weeding and watering.
• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges with pruners or saws.
• Plants flowers and trees.
• Operates lawn equipment and reports maintenance concerns to supervisor.
• Delivers communications to residents and assists in setting up for events.
• Drives motorized vehicle on/off Resort/Community for company business.
