Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality in East Hazel Crest, IL is seeking a Grounds Technician I to perform routine and extensive maintenance of outdoor spaces, signage, lighting, and related casino grounds to support operations.

You will mow, prune, plant, inspect irrigation, assist in snow removal, and maintain equipment while following safety guidelines. This role requires physical stamina, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid State Driver's License with insurable driving record.
• Six months of grounds maintenance or landscaping experience required.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Illinois Gaming Act license or ability to obtain one.
• English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Complete outdoor grounds and landscape maintenance per schedules.
• Mow lawns, trim trees and shrubs, weed beds, and maintain irrigation.
• Inspect and maintain landscape lighting, signs, fences, and walls.
• Remove trash from public areas and operate snow removal equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of parking garage and related facilities.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
