**Position Summary**

Under the supervision of the Manager of Facilities Grounds Services, maintain the school's property, including athletic fields, faculty housing, common areas, and roadways, to preserve and enhance the campus's prestigious appearance.

**Responsibilities**

1. Perform turf mowing, trimming, pruning shrubs and small trees.
2. Assist with plantings and removals.
3. Handle hardscaping tasks such as tile and paver wall installation and walkway repairs.
4. Weed, edge, and mulch flower beds.
5. Apply herbicides and pesticides minorly.
6. Manage recycling and trash pickup across campus.
7. Prepare athletic fields for use and maintain synthetic turf fields.
8. Perform routine equipment maintenance.
9. Collect leaves and operate heavy machinery like forklifts, tractors, and skid steers.
10. Perform snow removal, especially during winter, including long days and weekend work.
11. Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas and repair athletic equipment.
12. Assist with vehicle and equipment upkeep for safety and efficiency.
13. Perform other duties to support the Facilities Services team.

**Qualifications**

• At least 3 years of landscape maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of wiring diagrams, small engine repair, and synthetic turf maintenance is preferred.

**Physical Demands**

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical activities like standing, crouching, climbing, and bending.
• Vision requirements include close, distant, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Work occurs in diverse weather conditions.
