The University of Georgia is seeking a Grounds Keeper - Student to assist in maintaining athletic facilities, fields, and common areas on campus. You will support daily grounds upkeep, field maintenance, and game-day setup under supervision.
Responsibilities include mowing, irrigation, painting fields, and post-game care at Sanford Stadium, with physical tasks and teamwork in a busy athletic environment. This student role offers hands-on experience in facility maintenance on campus.
Position Summary: Maintain the grounds and commons areas for Athletic facilities.
Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel, bend, stoop; and reach with hands and arms. Sit and talk or hear. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but escalates to high during practice and athletic competitions.
