Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall landscaping of our apartment community. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors in all seasons, and contributes to a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas including walkways, parking lots, patios, and common areas

Perform daily grounds inspections and remove trash, debris, and pet waste

Water, trim, and maintain lawn, shrubs, flowers, and trees

Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently

Perform seasonal maintenance such as snow shoveling, de-icing, leaf removal, and storm clean-up

Report property damage, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to management promptly

Assist with minor exterior maintenance tasks as needed (light painting, power washing, signage upkeep)

Monitor and maintain proper inventory of grounds supplies and tools

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and property standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior Experience In Groundskeeping, Landscaping, Or Janitorial Work Preferred

Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on your feet, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team

Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and safety procedures
