1103 Team Member Services is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain campus grounds in Winter Garden, FL. The role requires performing planting, mowing, trimming, and related tasks, while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, managing inventories, and collaborating with team members to complete daily schedules. A Driver's License is required, with preferred 2+ years of experience in grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of groundskeeper maintenance experience.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• General knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscape plants used in the state.
• Skilled in the use of common landscape equipment such as weedeaters, hedge trimmers, edgers, hand mowers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and supply inventories.
• Perform planting, mowing, edging, mulching, trimming, pruning, blowing, watering, and spraying tasks.
• Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment per standards.
• Monitor health and appearance of plants and turf; recommend improvements.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and chemicals per regulations.
• Assist with landscape design and installation projects.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Inspect grounds regularly for maintenance needs.

Job Description:

Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and supply inventories. Other duties as assigned. Performs planting, mowing, edging, mulching, trimming, pruning, blowing, watering, and spraying tasks according to campus schedules and department standards. Conducts daily trash and debris clean-up to maintain a clean and safe environment. Treats nuisance weeds and undesirable vegetation in landscape bedding using chemical or physical methods per department guidelines. Operates and maintains grounds maintenance equipment to ensure good working condition. Monitors the health and appearance of plants and turf, making recommendations for improvements as needed. Applies fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals safely and in accordance with regulations. Assists with landscape design and installation projects to enhance aesthetic appeal of the grounds. Collaborates with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Inspects grounds regularly to identify areas needing maintenance or improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Self-motivated, with good organizational skills [Required]

• Skilled in the use of common landscape equipment such as weedeaters, hedge trimmers, edgers, hand mowers, etc. [Required]

Work Experience:

• 2+ groundskeeper maintenance experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

Pay Range:
