Job summary

BYU Pathway in Hawaii seeks a dedicated individual to perform landscaping and maintenance on Church properties, including raking, pruning, hauling vegetation, and keeping grounds clean and attractive.

You will assist with care of landscaped areas, open spaces, and community common areas, and contribute to upkeep of streets, parks, and related infrastructure while safely operating equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery safely.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather; able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Temple-worthiness and Church membership are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping and maintenance on Church properties, including raking, pruning, hauling debris, and grounds upkeep.
• Assist with care of landscaped areas, open spaces, and community common areas.
• Support upkeep of community assets such as streets, lights, parks, and drainage systems.
• Safely operate landscaping equipment and power tools.
