The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Maintenance Worker I in Hawaii to support grounds maintenance, landscaping, and facility services under the Maintenance Supervisor. The role covers grounds, community spaces, cemetery grounds, and related infrastructure across Church properties, and is an entry-level opportunity.
Ideal candidates will operate hand tools and power equipment safely, follow instructions, and work well outdoors in varying weather.
The Maintenance Worker I performs a variety of grounds maintenance, landscaping, and facility support functions to help ensure HRI properties remain safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position supports the upkeep of landscaping, community common areas, cemetery grounds, parks, beach areas, streets, streetlights, roads, drainage systems, streams, ditches, pump stations, reservoirs, control equipment, and other property assets. This is an entry-level position.
