Job summary

Luna Community College is seeking a Grounds Keeping and Building Maintenance worker to care for campus facilities and grounds, ensuring safe, clean, and functional spaces for students and staff. You will perform routine maintenance including plastering and furniture repairs, maintain grounds equipment, service HVAC filters, and handle minor plumbing and carpentry.

A High School Diploma or GED and a New Mexico Driver License are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• New Mexico Driver License required.
• Knowledge of safety rules and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic carpentry and plumbing experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides grounds keeping and building maintenance throughout the college.

• Maintains heating and cooling units by replacing filters and cleaning coils.
• Performs minor plumbing and carpentry work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
