-GROUNDS CREW-

Responsibilities:

• Use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment.
• Unload, lay out, prepare, and stow materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite.
• Work from the ground using handsaws, pole saws; operate trucks, loaders, and other equipment such as log movers, chipper, stump grinders.
• Service trucks and equipment, keep them in order, report repairs.
• Safeguard employees and the public, stay in communication with workers aloft.
• Participate in safety meetings and job briefings.
• Follow safety standards and PPE use; help enforce safety practices.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Additional related work as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and other equipment safely.
• Experience with trimming, limbing, chipper, and saw operation preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to carry 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

-TREE CLIMBER-

Responsibilities:

• Climb, prune, and remove trees on residential and commercial properties.
• Prepare, maintain, and operate tools and equipment safely, including climbing gear.
• Support the Crew Foreman as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Climbing experience with ropes and saddles, knot knowledge, chainsaw, and chipper operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts preferred.
• Knowledge of ANSI standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL preferred.
• Experience driving non-CDL trucks with trailers.
• Experience in crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures is highly valuable.
