Job summary

The General Municipal Authority of Bear Creek Township, PA is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Crew member to help keep our community looking its best. This role offers a great opportunity to work outdoors, take pride in your work, and make a visible difference in the township every single day.

You will maintain municipal grounds, parks, and public spaces, mow and trim lawns, plant and prune trees and shrubs, remove debris, and operate basic grounds equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or outdoor maintenance.
• Ability to operate commercial lawn and grounds equipment safely.
• Physically able to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manicure municipal grounds, parks, and public spaces.
• Mow, edge, trim, and blow grass and landscaped areas on a regular schedule.
• Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Remove debris, litter, and waste from public grounds and facilities.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on grounds equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Assist with leaf cleanup, and storm debris clearing.
• Support setup and breakdown of municipal events and facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team


• Valid driver\'s license preferred


• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work


• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and assist where needed
