Job summary

Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine, is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to help maintain the hotel grounds and golf course turf. Join our team and contribute to providing a clean and positive guest experience while being involved in various outdoor maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will operate mowing equipment, assist in the construction of greens, and perform a variety of additional gardening and cleanup tasks. Prior experience is preferred, but willing to train the right individual.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers and string trimmers.
• Ensure a clean and positive guest experience.
• Assist in the construction of new greens, tees, and fairways.
• Install forms and lay walks and paths.
• Remove debris and maintain flower beds.
• Perform other minor tasks as needed.

• Install forms and lay walks and paths using gravel and asphalt mixes
• Remove debris and clean flower beds
• Other minor tasks as needed
