Job summary

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort in California is seeking a Maintenance Worker to keep our buildings and surrounding facilities in an orderly, clean, and safe condition while providing friendly service to guests and staff.

Responsibilities include removing debris from parking structures and lots, emptying trash, sweeping and mopping stairwells, servicing ashtrays, checking security stations, fueling portable lighting, cleaning port-a-potties, and operating street sweepers and related equipment

Qualifications

• High school education; or up to one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ca. Class C driver's license required and must be vehicle insurable through JRCR's Agent.

Responsibilities

• Remove debris from parking structures, parking lots, roadways and other areas assigned.
• Empty trash cans in parking structures and lots.
• Sweep and mop stairwells.
• Remove ashtrays debris and ensure ashtrays are clean.
• Check and supply remotely located security stations i.e.; water cups, etc
• Fuel portable lighting assemblies and check fluid levels; under proper supervision.
• Portapottys-Perform the following duties with proper safety attire and under proper supervision.
• Ensure that portapottys are clean and that proper amount of chemicals solutions are in units, fluids are at proper level, sterilize units, stock with suitable paper products.
• Transfer debris from loading docks I, II, III to refuse compactor and identify recycle materials and deposit into proper locations.
• Use proper equipment fluids and supplies to remove oils and grease from parking structures and parking lots i.e.; portable pressure washers, pressure washer tanks and scrubbers.
• Conduct daily/weekly vehicle equipment inspection under proper supervision as required and complete Vehicle Condition Reports.
• Operate street sweeper and other cleaning equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Pay range: $21.00 - $27.30 per hour

*Shift Differential:Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
