Avon Fields Golf Course in Cincinnati, OH, part of Troon, seeks a seasonal full-time Grounds Crew to maintain the course and practice range, perform landscaping, and keep the property clean and inviting.

Duties include mowing greens, tees, fairways and roughs, operating weed eaters and blowers, edging bunkers, planting and trimming plantings, and basic irrigation and snow/ice removal. This is outdoor, year-round work with a strong team focus.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential grounds maintenance duties as listed.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.
• Ability to read safety rules and follow procedures.
• Seasonal full-time role lasting about 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Mows greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
• Safely operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions.
• Operates weed eaters and blowers.
• Edges, trims and rakes bunkers.
• Plants trees/shrubs, maintains flower beds, weed control, leaf removal.
• Maintains sand bunkers and repairs potholes; irrigates as needed.
• Performs trash and litter removal; snow/ice removal when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation

$12.50 per hour

Summary

Provides continuous maintenance for the course and/or range, including all landscaping activities and litter removal.

Key Responsibilities

• Note: The duties listed here are representative of those typically found in this position for Lake Ridge Golf Course. Employees should consult with their manager individually for specific expectations.
• Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs
• Safely operate motorized vehicles with Standard transmissions
• Operate Weed-eaters, and blowers
• Edge and trim and rake bunkers
• Has advanced experience setting cups and preparing course for play
• Plant trees and shrubs, maintain flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal
• Fertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs; cut, roll, lay and water sod; install, and maintain sand bunkers
• Repairs potholes
• Trash/litter removal
• Perform Light irrigation duties (hand water, clean heads, make repairs
• Snow and Ice removal
• Other duties to be assigned
