Alila Ventana Big Sur is seeking a Grounds Attendant to maintain the resort grounds, including campground and colleague housing areas, with an emphasis on cleanliness, beauty, and environmental harmony.

The role requires lifting moderate to heavy weights, working outdoors 8 hours, and operating vehicles, heavy machinery, and power tools; tree climbing and forestry tasks for fire safety may also be involved.

Qualifications

• Enjoys working outside in all weather conditions.
• Attention to detail.
• Landscaping experience is preferred, but not required.
• English speaking is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain beauty and cleanliness of resort grounds, including campground and housing areas.
• Weed, water, rake, and plant throughout the property.
• Safely lift moderate to heavy weights and work outdoors in all weather for 8 hours.
• Operate company vehicles, heavy machinery, and power tools; climb and trim trees.
• Contribute to forestry fire-safety projects and other property improvements.
