Job summary

Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa in Poipu, Hawaii is seeking a Grounds Attendant to join our Landscaping team. You will weed, cultivate soil, dig, mulch, water, rake and prune, with knowledge of seasonal plants and plant propagation.

The role requires physical ability to lift moderate to heavy weights and adaptability to all weather conditions, indoors or outdoors, and a commitment to Aloha, Care, Teamwork, and authentic hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of seasonal plants and basic propagation.

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Landscaping team as a grounds attendant at Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa located in Poipu, Hawaii. The Grounds Attendant will be responsible and must have experience in weeding, soil cultivation, digging, mulching, watering, raking, edging, lower pruning, cutting hedges, seed sowing, and cleaning and planting. This includes a good knowledge of seasonal plants and flowers and propagating new plants. This candidate must be able to lift moderate to heavy weights and be flexible enough to work in all weather conditions, indoors or outdoors. The candidate must be willing to adapt and live our culture of Aloha, Care, Teamwork, and Authentic Hospitality.
90 Day Probationary Rate: $22.69 per hour / Hourly Rate: $26.69 per hour
