Job summary

Cliff Drysdale Tennis seeks a part-time Grounds and Facility Attendant at John Newcombe Country Club in New Braunfels, Texas. The role supports member and guest experiences with daily facility readiness, court and turf maintenance, and basic upkeep across the site.

Compensation is $15.00 per hour with a schedule that includes mornings Monday through Saturday, plus limited evening hours. Benefits include healthcare and a 401(k) with employer matching eligibility.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English.
• No certifications or licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the facility for guests daily.
• Maintain tennis courts, including debris removal.
• Trash pickup around the grounds.
• Mulching and landscaping common areas.
• Turf maintenance and court maintenance.
• Gym maintenance and painting around the facility.
• Change lightbulbs and perform basic tool use.
• Daily walk arounds of pool grounds and equipment.
• Identify supplies needed and report to supervisor.

John Newcombe Country Club located in New Braunfels, Texas is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Grounds and Facility Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon / Cliff Drysdale Tennis, you will contribute to a global leader in racquet sports, golf and community management.

Compensation

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Saturday: 7 A.M. - 12 P.M.
Saturday: 5 P.M. - 7 P.M.

Tasks Included But Not Limited To

• Getting the Facility ready for guests Daily
• Court Maintenance including Blowing Off Debris from Tennis Courts
• Picking up Trash around the Grounds
• Mulching/ Landscaping Common Areas
• Turf Maintenance
• Court Maintenance
• Gym Maintenance
• Painting around the Facility
• Basic Tool Use
• Squeegeeing Windows and Court Surrounds
• Changing Lightbulbs
• Climbing Ladders
• Taking out Trash
• Daily Walk Arounds Pool Grounds
• Stack Equipment
• Oiling Equipment
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed
• Performs other duties as required, basic knowledge of power tool use
• Regular and Reliable Attendance
