Qualifications

  • We are hiring immediately for a full timeGROUNDS ADMIN ASSISTANTposition.
  • Location: TAMU College Station - 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843Note: online applications acceptedonly.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: A valid driver's license, and administrative experience required. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
  • Pay Range:$14.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour

Job Summary


Summary:Provides administrative support as well as functioning as contact for the RDO and the Grounds Management department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize meetings and reserve conference rooms (including scheduling interviews)
  • Creates and maintains database, spreadsheets, and various reports in a timely manner. This includes staffing related reports, weekly, monthly & annual reports and surveys.
  • Update AiM database with new hires, certifications, terminations, change of shop, etc. on a daily basis
  • Responsible for new hire: creation of personnel files, parking permit, uniform, Aggie ID, job description, supervisor introduction, etc. On occasion may need to assist candidates with applying for a grounds position through SuccessFactors.
  • Complete MVR Reports bi-annually & annually for special circumstances
  • Safety champ - Daily monitoring of safety bingo (assign bingo cards, submit forms for bingo winner, etc.)
  • Daily notification of corrective counseling for the Associate Occurrence sheet
  • Notify Management team in regards to employees yearly evaluation date each month
  • Distribute work orders for the Grounds team that were processed by customer for grounds work to be done on property, as well as assigning work order to proper team.
  • Ability to complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be exceptionally motivated with a high level of energy in order to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to use time efficiently & effectively
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
  • Possess strong organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and information quickly and efficiently, as well as being able to multi-task
  • Exhibits excellent dependability and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Five years of experience in an Administrative Assistant position
