Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Michigan is seeking a Groundperson to assist with gathering and feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper, while scanning for trip and fall hazards and keeping the work path clear for others. You will also help maintain equipment and materials and support team safety and efficiency in the field.

Responsibilities include operating a chainsaw, feeding brush into the wood chipper, and performing basic vehicle and equipment servicing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years-of-age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Upon offer, pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check may be required.
• Driver's License Preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
