Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Groundperson in North Carolina to support vegetation management along power lines. You will operate hand tools, move debris, and assist with brush removal while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The position requires physical endurance, ability to follow instructions, and strict adherence to company safety policies. The role may involve overtime and call-outs during storms or emergencies. Experience with PPE and knowledge of OSHA rules are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Cuts brush and limbs with hand saws, ground saws or similar tools.
• Carries brush and debris to designated areas for chip processing.
• Operates equipment and follows safety protocols including OSHA regulations.
• Maintains a neat work area and cooperates with team and supervisors.
