Job summary

Belvidere Sand & Gravel, a partner with the H&K Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced Groundperson to support production and maintenance. The ideal candidate is safety focused, action oriented, pays attention to detail, and excels at teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience; combination may be considered.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Willing to work a 1st or 2nd shift; PPE fit test capability.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow MSHA and H&K safety policies.
• Perform plant maintenance.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Learn plant functions and operations.
• Take direction from site personnel and work in a team.
• Cross-train to learn all plant jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.
