The groundperson is responsible for gathering and feeding brush & debris into a woodchipper, scanning areas for trip and fall hazards, and ensuring other workers stay out of the path of travel. This position also involves maintaining equipment and materials.

Employees must have adequate eyesight, concentration, weather endurance, PPE usage, and communication skills to work safely around hazardous equipment and terrain, perform job duties throughout long shifts, and handle confrontations professionally.
