The groundperson is responsible for gathering and feeding brush & debris into a woodchipper, scanning areas for trip and fall hazards, and ensuring other workers stay out of the path of travel. This position also involves maintaining equipment and materials.

Pay: Competitive, Hourly
Employees must have sufficient eyesight for distance judgment and coordination, maintain attention for extended periods, withstand weather conditions, wear PPE, enter and exit vehicles multiple times daily, traverse various terrains, perform job duties throughout an 8- or 10-hour shift, communicate effectively, and handle confrontations professionally. Work involves exposure to hazardous equipment, noise, weather, unlevel ground, and falling limbs, requiring appropriate protective measures.
Asplundh provides tree pruning, vegetation management, right-of-way clearing, emergency storm work, and logistical support. Our subsidiaries offer overhead and underground line construction, planning, design, electrical testing, and street lighting services. We also operate Rotor Blade Airborne Utilities Management using helicopters.
