Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a Groundperson for the Davey Utility Line Clearance division in South Hadley, MA. You will support a crew by handling ropes, lowering limbs, and assisting tree work crews on-site with safety as a priority.

You will help with traffic control, tool provisioning, and site cleanup while adhering to company safety standards. This entry-level position offers training, benefits, and a path to advanced certifications within a large employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must live within 30 minutes of South Hadley, MA.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL preferred and may be required.
• Certificates and licenses if necessary.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Herbicide license a plus.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.

Job Duties
