Job summary

GA Right of Way in Gray, GA is hiring for Groundman and Bucket Operator (Tree Trimmer) positions. Primary duties include operating a wood chipper, using a chainsaw, and assisting in roping/rigging with daily equipment checks. Workweeks typically run 10 hours, Mon-Thu, with possible overtime and storm-clearance assignments.

New hires begin CDL-A permit work within 60 days and receive a raise upon completion. ELDT certification and CDL road test support are provided.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training and safety coaching provided.
• CDL-A Permit required within 60 days and raises upon completion.
• ELDT certification assistance and CDL road test support.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wood chipper to remove limbs and debris from job sites.
• Use a chainsaw to remove trees and brush.
• Assist in roping/rigging operations.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance.
• Support in obtaining a CDL-A and related certifications.
