Job summary

GA Right of Way is seeking local, full-time Groundmen and Bucket Operators in the Wrens, GA area. Responsibilities include operating chainsaws and chippers for tree clearance, assisting in rigging, and performing daily equipment maintenance. CDL-A training is supported and ELDT certification assistance is provided.

Workdays are typically 7:00am–5:30pm with potential overtime. Applicants must pass a drug screen and DOT Physical; benefits begin after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating chainsaws, chippers, and rigging is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain CDL-A and ELDT certification.
• Must pass drug screen and DOT Physical.
• Local full-time availability with overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw and wood chipper to clear limbs and debris.
• Perform bucket operation for tree trimming and elevation work.
• Assist in roping/rigging and general site safety.
• Conduct daily equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Pursue CDL-A permit within 60 days and obtain ELDT certification.

Georgia Right of Way - Utility Line Clearance Contractor is seeking to fill local full-time Groundman and Bucket Operator (Tree Trimmer) positions immediately. This job post is for the WRENS, GA area.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Using a wood chipper to remove limbs and debris from job sites
• Using a chainsaw to remove trees and brush
• Assisting in Roping/Rigging Operations
• Daily equipment maintenance
• Begin working to obtain Class-A CDL

We are seeking motivated individuals who enjoy the freedom of an outdoor work environment and seek to build a career in tree work. We typically work 10-hour days 7:00am to 5:30pm; Monday thru Thursday (subject to change per customer request) We also provide Emergency Storm Clearance services as needed. Our employees must be able to work overtime and irregular hours at times.

Our employees are trained in chainsaw operation, tree felling, roping/rigging, bucket operation, tree climbing, tree removal, and proper pruning techniques.

A CDL License is required to move up within the company. New employees must begin working to obtain their CDL-A Permit within 60-days and are given a raise upon completion. Furthermore, we will assist you in obtaining the ELDT certification and completing the CDL Road Test.

On-the-job skills and safety training will be provided along with plenty of room for advancement. Hourly Pay is determined upon experience and qualifications.
