Job summary

The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking a Groundman to support Journeyman and Apprentice Linemen by performing assigned tasks in the field.

This is a full-time, on-site role that requires a valid Class A CDL with medical card, and no restrictions operating a manual transmission or a semi-tractor with a fifth-wheel trailer. Candidates must pass criminal background checks and drug screening; the company offers medical, dental and vision insurance, disability and life

For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Groundman is to support the work of the Journeyman Lineman and the Apprentice Lineman by performing assigned tasks.
