Job summary

The Ground Hand at Sunrise Telecom Inc. is responsible for tasks related to the construction and upgrade of telecommunications lines or systems as assigned. This role requires outdoor work and adherence to safety protocols to protect workers and the public.

Candidates should be able to operate a bucket truck, climb poles, use hand and power tools, and assist with guys and anchors. The position may involve long hours and variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' telecom construction experience preferred.
• Experience reading construction prints is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck following safety and traffic regulations.
• Assist with pole framing and placement of stands.
• Climb poles as required.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Assist with installation of guys and anchors.
• Clean and prepares sites.
• Assist with traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines.
• All other duties as required.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years' experience with Telcom construction preferred, but not required.
• Experiencewithbothcoaxialandfiberopticplantispreferred,but notarequirement.
• Demonstratedknowledgeofconstructionprintsaswellasabilitytoreadprints.
• TechnicalSkills:Abilitytooperate bucketandclimbpoles.
